FAQ COVID-19

Do the Top4 ski areas have a safety concept in place?
The Top4 ski areas are implementing a COVID-19 safety plan based on guidelines from the Federal Government and the canton of Bern. In this way, we are building on the good experience gained over the course of the summer. The following safety measures apply (last updated: 18/11/2020):

  • As on public transport, masks must be worn on cable cars and mountain railways, as well as on chairlifts and ski lifts. This applies to all passengers aged 12 and up.
  • In Top4 ski areas, neck warmers and bandanas may be worn as face coverings, provided they conform with FOPH guidelines.
  • Transport facilities are operating at full capacity.
  • Queuing areas have been arranged in such a way that people can maintain social distancing wherever possible.
  • Masks are compulsory in all waiting areas, both inside and outside. The same applies in highly frequented areas such as parking lots and multi-storey car parks.
  • The catering facilities follow the guidelines of the industry association GastroSuisse.
The safety plan may be altered by the canton or the federal government at any time. Further information to follow.
